Solution:

The feature of the hiding cursor could is there, you only have to
install the software unclutter and start it with every start of you're
Unity via startprograms.

Installation: sudo apt-get install unclutter

I added a video to my comment, showing that unclutter hides the mouse
cursor, the moment the first key is pressed. It works with any DE or WM
using X.
