Thanks. The proximate cause of this is that /dev/sdb5 requires
recovery, which means that it can't be mounted normally. Now, I thought
that we'd fixed that class of problem using grub-mount. However, grub-
mount appears not to be working properly in the installer environment,
which causes these symptoms.
