Dear Christopher, this problem persists with Ubuntu Precise beta 1: WHAT HAPPENS: With my WLAN card (RTL 8185L chip) stuck into my machine, Ubuntu's boot precess freezes. I need to pyhsically power off my machine (not even SysRq-Keys do work).
WHAT I EXPECT: Ubuntu boots up normally and I can use my WLAN card. If my card is not supported, Ubuntu still boots up normally, but not WLAN is availabe. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/839019 Title: wifi module rtl8180 freezes the system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/839019/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
