I tried to reproduce this but without success. I did the following steps:
$ cd /tmp
$ wget http://www.teamviewer.com/download/teamviewer_linux_x64.deb
$ software-center teamviewer_linux_x64.deb
and that worked without a error mesage. Could you please try the same steps and
see if it fails
for you? Any help in reproducing this would be appreciated :)
