i can give more details on this bug as i am experiencing the same issue
with my laptop Lenovo Thinkpad edge e520. when i open cheese it acts
like it is loading and the webcam light turns grren indicating it has
turned on. then ubuntu freezes. i can move my mouse but nothing else
works. i really need help with this. thank you ahead of time.
