Thanks for your report.
The upgrade fails because you use a custom kernel 2.6.18-028stab091.2 and as
the message from libc says
"this version of the GNU libc requires kernel version
2.6.24 or later. Please upgrade your kernel before installing
glibc."
I'm closing this report because it is not a bug.
