I'm using ubuntu 11.10.
First off all, i have 2 canon pixma 258 which comes under 250 series...
After setting up printer driver for my canon pixma mp258, i removed the usb
from my computer and changed another printer which was the same type. After
that, i plugin the usb of the printer and opened simple scan to scan some to
scan some photos.
When i clicked the scan button, it sayed error scanning. (i think i have to
reinstall the same driver for the printer again). The issue was, after simple
scan sayed error, it automaticly disables my wifi. When i remove and put in the
wifi it does not work. I also checked the network settings and it did not work
neither. I am using a TP-Link TL-WN821NC 300Mbs wireless and usb adapter. The
only way that i found to get it working is to restart my ubuntu.
My question are :
1) why does simple scanned does it to my wifi ?
2) Why the same type of the printer driver needs to be reinstalled to get it
to work ?
