The process for including a patch and requesting sponsorship is
technically correct, but m-b-p-i version 20120307-1 already contains the
changes for the Ethiopian providers; so we can't just sponsor this.
What we ought to do instead is to SRU the package as it in is precise
and upload it (with just a version number change and changing the
release name) to each of the supported releases. Taking the package as-
is; we'd have a version number of 20120307-1ubuntu0.11.10 for Oneiric.
Even better, we may want to consider shipping a new snapshot of m-b-p-i
to Precise now that we're getting very close to release; and proceed
with the SRUs of *that*.
