Ah, ok. I find it annoying, but I'm slowly getting used to it. In my opinion, it would have been better implemented by making the entire name column a valid target to bring up the file context menu but allowing blank space in other columns to bring up the general context menu. After all, in the past you could always create a new folder via the titlebar menus.
