Public bug reported:
ttf-devanagari-fonts breaks several font's licenses by using Latin glyph
from those without respecting it (non free fonts and free fonts).
- Chandas uses Bitstream Vera Sans without using the Bitstream Vera license. It
only specifies the GPL license.
- Kalimati uses Tahoma, thus breaking its copyright. It specifies "© Sanir
Karmacharya, Suyash Shrestha"
- Samanata uses Eurostile, thus breaking its copyright. It specifies "© Samir
Karmacharya, Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]"
Aksharyogini, Gargi, Nakula, Sahadeva, uses Latin glyphs from what looks like
Nimbus Serif/Sans which are under GPL so they are clean.
Lohit doesn't seem to have borrowed glyphs.
Fonts which break copyright _should not_ be distributed unless the
license are fixed and copyrights are respected.
