Dan Miller, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Maverick reached EOL on April 2012. Please see this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases
We were wondering if this is still an issue on a supported release? If so, could you please provide all information noted in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKeyboardDetection#In_case_some_keys_of_your_keyboard_don.27t_work_.28as_expected.29 ? As well, can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue in a supported release, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect 690334 Thanks in advance. ** Project changed: ubuntu-release-notes => null ** Changed in: null Status: Incomplete => Invalid ** Tags added: i386 maverick ** Package changed: linux (Ubuntu) => xserver-xorg-input-evdev (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-input-evdev (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/690334 Title: Some special keys Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard 3000 don't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/null/+bug/690334/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
