Just discovered it is a problem with hplip driver. You have to run the hp-setup utility so that the proprietary MFP driver plug-in is reinstalled:
$ sudo hp-setup This is a workaround. Should the hplip package install the proprietary plug-in automatically during the upgrade since the EULA was previously accepted? Should the user be asked to accept the EULA and get the plug-in installed during the dist-upgrade to precise? ** Package changed: xsane (Ubuntu) => hplip (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/971448 Title: xsane crashed with SIGSEGV in soapht_control_option() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hplip/+bug/971448/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
