Thank you reporting this bug to make Ubuntu better. I can confirm this
issue on my system as well. However, I believe this is not a design
issue but a bug which affects the launcher. This is related to the bug
report https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/934062. Basically pressing
Super + keyboard key unnecessarily brings up with the shortcut overlay
and number overlay which can be annoying.
Hence marking this bug as confimed but also removing the Ayatana package
since it is not a design related issue.
