That computer isn't suspended, it happens usually after fresh boot and in login screen. But mouse has frozen few times after login as well.
I tried "quickly" with linux-image-3.4.0-030400rc1-generic_3.4.0-030400rc1.201203312035_amd64.deb and linux-headers-3.4.0-030400rc1-generic_3.4.0-030400rc1.201203312035_amd64.deb but system didn't complete the boot. Well, I assumed that due these errors (related to nvidia): update-initramfs: deferring update (hook will be called later) Examining /etc/kernel/postinst.d. run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/postinst.d/dkms 3.4.0-030400rc1-generic /boot/vmlinuz-3.4.0-030400rc1-generic ERROR (dkms apport): kernel package linux-headers-3.4.0-030400rc1-generic is not supported Error! Might be that I need kernel source as well, but didn't find that deb package, only a few lengthy instructions which I didn't have time to follow, ie: http://blog.avirtualhome.com/compile-linux-kernel-3-2-for-ubuntu-11-10/ https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Kernel/Compile why not make "linux-source-3.n.*.deb" source packages available as well? ** Tags added: kernel-unable-to-test-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/971854 Title: mouse freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/971854/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
