Hi David, I upgraded from Ubuntu 11.10 to ubuntu 12.04 Beta2. My recording device was set to internal microphone before I had upgraded. After the upgrade, I noticed that my skype test call came back with no audio recorded. Initially, I thought that the microphone was not working but later on when I checked, I found out that the recording device was set to Line 1 instead of internal microphone, without I changing it.
