For some reason I cannot log into launchpad to update things, but through
this email I hope the bug is updated.

While it is true that this should be considered a bug, and it still exists
in release version, one can overcome the problem by loading up windows.

In MS Windows XP sp2, if you rightclick on the notification icon for the
wireless connection and select Enable Radio  you can return to the Feisty OS
and find that everything works as it is supposed to work. I even get a nice
bright-blue light on the laptop's indicator.

I could not find any control similar to  this MS-windows process in Feisty
and this is NOT the same as the setting in CMOS/BIOS.
