Thanks for reporting this issue.
I get a similar error message when attempting to run gmorgan on Ubuntu
11.10.
Ubuntu Precise includes a newer verison of gmorgan, but I am not sure
whether this problem is resolved or not, as I get a different crash
there. (See bug 973206 for details on this)
