I didnt have this problem using Ubuntu 10.04 even the microphone works using that live cd. I have tried with live cd of Ubuntu 11.04 and 11.10 but it doenst work. I thought that probably updating to 12.04 that problem was gonna be fixed but it wasnt that's why I reported it. Im gonna check it out the page you suggested me and Im gonna try to do what you said, I dont understand well what I have to do but I will try.
