Stab in the dark... there is a bug which can cause 'virsh start' to fail, causing the monitor to be killed early. I wonder whether this was trying to get the vnc info of the domain while the domain was being killed during startup, causing the monitor to disappear, causing strdup to suddenly be attempted of freed memory.
