I've the same problem: mounting from cmd line fstab entries works fine,
but samba shares are not mounted boot time.
I've the following pkgs installed:
ii libsmbclient 3.0.24-2ubuntu1.2
shared library that allows applications to t
ii smbclient 3.0.24-2ubuntu1.2
a LanManager-like simple client for Unix
ii smbfs 3.0.24-2ubuntu1.2
mount and umount commands for the smbfs (for
smbfs is in /etc/modules and is up after boot.
