Currently, I can't reproduce. The original issue was found using a guest account using DejaDup. Repeating on my machine (11.10), ubuntu-sso-client logs in fine in Guest and my user accounts, with 2 factor required on my SSO account. Will try on Precise shortly.
Currently, the API has no support for 2 factor authentication, it just uses password, which is the desired outcome, so not sure yet what is triggering this failure. mterry reports in works fine with 2f turned off. Either way, this needs looking at some more, as 2factor can potentially be bypassed to get a vaild consumer token via the API. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/957436 Title: Ubuntu SSO client cannot handle two-factor authentication To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-identity-provider/+bug/957436/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
