Public bug reported:

upgrading from 11.10 to 12.04 on a macbook 6,2, the update manager finished
while not even kernel 3.2 was installed. After doing the (suggested) restart,
it appeared that many more packages were not installed yet. The update-manager
-d didn't work anymore and via apt-get dist-upgrade I had to clean up. Already
in 11.10 the update-manager didn't work anymore and I used to work via the
aptitude or apt-get update/upgrade.
Many 32bits libraries give problems. There's warnings about this on the net,
but for the non-beta release this REALLY needs to be solved!

Am I now completely deprived from flashplugin and icaclient for ever??
