Public bug reported:
I was about to upgrade Ubuntu (Over 400 upgrades). Meanwhile I was upgrading I
was playing around with GIMP, and when I was finished playing with GIMP I
didn't think about that Ubuntu was upgrading, so I shut down my laptop. I
realized when it was too late that Ubuntu was upgrading. I hoped that it would
continue upgrading before shutting down (Like Windows), but it didn't.
Then I started the Update Manager to continue the upgrade. I made a partial
upgrade and then everything screwed up. It didn't want to upgrade. I actaully
don't know what screw up. I tried to upgrade 3 times, without succes.
