Verified with this build: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/12.04/beta-2/ubuntu-12.04-beta2-dvd- amd64.iso, and my card is recognized and worked as expected. But I cannot help you verify with the upstream kernel.
Basically, this issue is caused by missing PATA related drivers/kernel modules. The following two kernel modules are required for my particular issue: CONFIG_HOTPLUG_PCI_PCIE=m CONFIG_PATA_JMICRON=m more PATA related drivers may needed to work with other devices. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/782521 Title: Ubuntu 11.04 cannot recognize my PCI-E card To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/782521/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
