*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 962981 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/962981
If I recall correctly, this would be a first time run I executed on my notebook, and MythTV come up with the initial configuration screen (pick-a-flag) since it failed to connect to the backend with the existing password from a previous install, imported into the home directory. I entered the new IP and password provided by the backend. It starts trying to connect to the backend. Crash. I can't say if it crashed immediately after I pressed enter or shortly therafter. I've been having problems with the frontend more recently as well when subsequent attempts to connect after the (blocked) first connect fail and crash and I can't kill the processes, could be related. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/953442 Title: mythfrontend.real crashed with SIGSEGV in QCoreApplication::postEvent() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mythtv/+bug/953442/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
