** Description changed:

When texmaker is installed without ibus-qt4, after some time, dead
characters stop working and texmaker writes ¨e instead of ë. ibus-qt4
should be a dependency of Texmaker.

  Upstream bug http://code.google.com/p/texmaker/issues/detail?id=86
+
+ Actually, in Debian this was fixed in 3.2.2-1 texmaker recommends ibus-
+ qt4 - so by default it gets downloaded). It will propagate to Q/12.10

  Original bug description:

The problem is that after a variable time (20 min) of using texmaker to write
in german, it suddenly stops writing Umlaute. Usually you first press the key
for the symbol ¨ and afterwards enter the vowel to write ä,ö...
What happens is that it suddenly writes ¨ after pressing that key once, which
usually has to be pressed twice to write it without a vowel. So I have to exit
texmaker and restart it to enable writing Umlaute/Dieresis again.

I am using version 3.0.2 on Ubuntu 11.10
