** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg Upon upgrade to 10.04 from 9.10 (not fresh install) the XOrg failed to start initially. Once I worked through that hiccup, the resolution will not go above 1024 x 768. This worked without a hitch in 9.10 and had the extra ATI support enabled. I've also attached the output of the following command: #lshw -html > hardware.html + + WORKAROUND: boot with radeon.modeset=0 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: xorg 1:7.5+5ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-20.58-generic Uname: Linux 2.6.31-20-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 CheckboxSubmission: 09cf24bb2756761595019da54c506eef CheckboxSystem: 2a6f54df59af338184485e85cbcf0d32 Date: Mon Apr 12 23:04:43 2010 DkmsStatus: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory GdmLog2: - + MachineType: Dell Inc.
