if you let your computer unlocked available to people who want to steal from you, you already "loose", they can easily access your email, passwords in seahorse, copy your datas to an USB stick etc, it's not increasing the number of password prompt "in session" that will protect you or resolve anything, it will just increase user frustration in they day to day work
