Public bug reported:
i was installing gnome-shell package with the use of Terminal,
then on adding a external ppa:
sudo ppa-purge ppa:ricotz/testing
after installing it when i did
sudo apt-get update
then i found this error occured.
This is caused by held and beoken packages in the system,
i also tried fix broken packages using synaptic but it is of no use.
if anybody found its solution then let me know.
