py3cairo is finally in Debian, so I updated the pygobject package to
build python3-gi-cairo: http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/pkg-
gnome?view=revision&revision=34192

Subscribing ubuntu-release for a feature freeze exception. This just
builds a new python3-gi-cairo package and does not change the existing
binary packages at all. So this is very low risk.

** Summary changed:

- [patch] Enable cairo support for Python 3
+ [FFE] Enable cairo support for Python 3

** Changed in: pygobject (Ubuntu)
       Status: Triaged => In Progress

** Changed in: pygobject (Ubuntu)
     Assignee: (unassigned) => Martin Pitt (pitti)
