@tugevus, The error is "OperationalError: unable to open database file". The database file is called hamster.db and the full path to this file is $HOME/.local/share/hamster-applet/hamster.db.
Is the database file still in that location? I had a similar problem when I moved from Ubuntu 10.04 to 11.10. I made a fresh install of 11.10, installed Time Tracker, and then replaced the default hamster.db file with the file from the previous installation. Time Tracker only started after I restarted the computer, and then, after restart, it would freeze up immediately after I entered one character into the "Start new activity" text box. I then examined hamster.db with Sqliteman and discovered that the default activities were still in the activities table of the database with values of -1 in the category column. I deleted those rows. From then on Time Tracker has worked normally. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/762628 Title: it is impossible to start gnome-time-tracker To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hamster-applet/+bug/762628/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
