ok. I reinstalled chromium second times. And now it is working fine. Maybe the occurence of the posted bug is related to the way I first updated the bookmarks and logon-data from my older chromium-installation of my ubuntu-version 11.10 (actual version is 12.04). I just copied the old .config/chromium/Default-dictonary into my upgraded system, what firstly seemed to work fine. I don't really know what actually happened...
