Public bug reported:
For complicated reasons I have had to replace the system core of my
testbed machine with an Intel 965 (ICH8) board. This has the Marvell
IDE controller which doesn't work with the currently available (in
feisty) 2.6.19 xen kernels. The 2.6.20 non-Xen kernel boots fine on
that hardware (using the pata_marvell module for the IDE controller).
