Public bug reported:

It hangs with boot text on screen.
i have to do ALT-F2, log in with my name and pass
then enter "startx" at the terminal


I've reinstalled it a few times at the command line, did "dpkg-reconfigure 
lightdm" (and "gdm")


I had gdm installed when i had 11.10...
