I'm not going to hold my breath for this one as Kmail has much more fundemental problems to solve that this (like when one forward a html message and it breaks the html style view severly). Thanks for the attention anyhow but I thought that this was the correct procedure log it in launchpad then attach the upstream report to that but I guess it is superfluous really.
