Affects me as well. I have the following layout: sda (HDD): /dev/sda1* 100G ext4 (unused) /dev/sda2 10G swap /dev/sda4 100G ext4 / /dev/sda3 Extended /dev/sda5 500G ext4 /home
sdb (SSD): /dev/sdb1 6G swap /dev/sdb2* 2G /boot (*=partition marked bootable) Grub is installed on /dev/sda and /dev/sdb, but I'm booting it from sda. Booting works fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973095 Title: GRUB error: "out of partition" after a kernel update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/973095/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
