Public bug reported: The places plugin does not open folders in the preferred file manager; it seems to always use Thunar.
Steps to reproduce: 1) Set File Manager to e.g. Nautilus in Preferred Applications. 2) Click a folder in the Places menu. The folder opens in Thunar when it should open in Nautilus. A patch for this is offered here: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5754 Additionally I have adapted that to a patch which can be applied at the end of the current patch series, which I've attached here. ** Affects: xfce4-places-plugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/980756 Title: xfce4-places-plugin does not respect preferred file manager To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-places-plugin/+bug/980756/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
