We got confirmation from bug 973111, which is a duplicate on Oneiric, that the patch for this bug solves the problem (reporter tested both a kernel with only the patch plus tested the 3.0.0-19.3 release from -proposed). Thus marking this as verification-done-oneiric. Also we got confirmation in other bugs, like bug 973444.
