Further down though, it looks for TXT field _kerberos.DOMAIN and fails. Perhaps that won't happen if the KRB5 request here succeeded. Is 10.37.55.20 the wrong IP address? Is that not the host on which Samba is installed? This still very much seems like a configuration issue to me.
