line 39 still malformed. can't access updates. checking synaptic pkg. .can't get synaptic. This is Saturday. Will try on Monday, except I always seem to try again before I said i would. No fair to others needing help. Maybe you can create some sort of problem reporting cache so it can be put aside when others need resources. Bug# 119469 Put the disk icon on the cover . Seems to run interference with the Windows CD in my top drive.
