I don't think this bug has anything to do with ntfs. This bug is very
easily reproducible with ONLY a separate ext4 home partition, and no
ntfs partitions at all. Quite a serious bug as keeping your home
partition unformatted so you don't need to wipe all your data (for
example I have 100+ gigs of music, thats a huge pia to have to copy over
every 6 months). Upgrading using distro upgrade can often be
problematic, so this is the best way to "clean install" and keep your
data, this is something that really needs to work on final release (not
to mention this bug also borks your previous install)
