Thanks a lot for finding that conflict. I believe you to be entirely
correct (at least the two packages seem to have the same upstream, and
result in the same files). I'll file a separate bug for the removal of
libqt-ruby-qt4. I'm rejecting this bug, as it will not be fixed (except
by purging the buggy package), and it doesn't apply to libqt4-ruby1.8.
