Public bug reported: Workrave is a gnome application which provides a panel applet that can include up to three timers for taking brakes on different time scales. This applet has not appeared well in the panel since Unity was introduced. The applet appears limited to one icon's worth of space. For the timers to appear correctly more horizontal space would be required.
Here's what it is supposed to look like (one timer active in the panel; three timers in a separate window): http://lh5.ggpht.com/_1QSDkzYY2vc/S5TSCNQMcMI/AAAAAAAAAg0/ideWqfYsnPs/Screenshot001.png Here's what it look's like in Unity (12.04 beta 2): (please see attachment) Reference: http://www.webupd8.org/2010/03/workrave-tells-you-when-to-take-break.html ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: workrave 1.9.4-3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-23.36-generic 3.2.14 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-23-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Apr 14 16:24:51 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100429) ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: workrave UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-04-14 (0 days ago) ** Affects: workrave (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/981879 Title: Workrave applet appears badly in Unity panel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/workrave/+bug/981879/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
