You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm using linux-mint 12 (lisa) x64 on lenovo G460. When I create a adhoc wifi hotspot for the devices (wifi phones) it doesn't show up. And the OS keeps prompting for password (WEP) every ~10 seconds without connecting etc..
