I booted into rescue mode and checked my filesystem. It did several similar 'changes' into my filesystem to which I must approve manually one-by-one. However, on the boot after the next one, I got a kernel panic.
I've reformatted my / partition (in which all the directories but /home reside--if that info might help), and reinstalled Ubuntu 12.04 and then upgraded everything. The bug didn't happen again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/975893 Title: Dpkg returns error: "Read-only filesystem" when upgrading udisks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/udisks/+bug/975893/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
