Tabor, if you are using the "fglrx" AMD graphics driver then the flicker is most likely caused by the fglrx driver's default settings (which are broken). To fix this:
1. Open Catalyst Control Center. 2. Go to 3D > More Settings. 3. Set "Wait for vertical refresh" to "On, unless application specifies". If that's not enough to fix the flicker then please also try running "ccsm" (from package: compizconfig-settings-manager), and in the Workarounds section, enable "Force full screen redraw (buffer swap) on repaint". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/982692 Title: snapping graphics problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/982692/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
