** Description changed:

This is a HP Mini 110-3000 CTO (Running currently 12.04, previously
11.04). The system does recognize the internal bluetooth module is
installed, but is unable to see visable bluetooth devices. Because of
this, it is impossible to actually pair anything with the machine (using
the built in dongle). External bluetooth USB adapters have no issue with
the netbook. The adapter is recognized via lsusb as:

Bus 003 Device 003: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth
  Dongle (HCI mode)

The first three groups of the mac address are 74:F0:6D. This set of mac
addresses is registered to this company:

- 8F., Baozhong Rd.,
- Xindian City, Taipei County. 231

Based on this information, I believe that this Bluetooth chip is
possibly (?) misidentified as a Cambridge Silicon Radio.
+
+ Tested 3.4.0 RC3 and 3.3.1. Integrated Bluetooth does not work on
+ either.
