Please help me understand how this bug can be an "upstream bug" since I tested with 2 different Kernels (12.04 current 3.2.0-23-generic and upstream 3.4.0-030400rc3-generic) and ended up with identical results: 1-both Kernels freeze within seconds after autologin when booting from power on (when HDD0 is first boot device); 2-both Kernels do NOT freeze after autologin when rebooting AFTER changing BIOS Boot Sequence to HDD0 as first device (from Network Boot).
That tells me it is a current unresolved bug in the current Kernel. Or am I missing something?
