If this was working in Oneiric but is no longer working in Precise can you try
the following:
1. Verify that it does work with the latest Oneiric kernel.
2. Test the 3.2 upstream kernels at:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/
To see if you can narrow down when the regression was introduced.
3. Please add comments to this bug about anything you find and return the
status of this bug to "Triaged"
