I agree that the im-switch fix would be better off with a cherry-pick.
As long as it is not entirely broken, it's much safer to do that as an
SRU.

Does the new fcitx version actually require all those new packages, or
are these independent? I. e. can the new versions be SRUed and tested
one by one?
